Uses for fabric and trim scraps?

Hi all, it's nice to meet all the other PDX craft ho's! I have a small business making intimate apparel, and I generate a huge amount of fabric and trim scraps. Oddly enough, SCRAP does not take scraps. I've been hoarding them because I don't want them to end up in a landfill. Every once in a while I meet someone who can use them for something, but really not often enough.

What do you all do with your scraps? Does anyone have any ideas for recycling or re-using these scraps? I thought about trying to make paper with the cotton scraps, has anyone ever tried this? If anyone needs any little bits of ruffled lace, silk, nylon, or cotton, I have whole boatload!

I use scraps of all kind for latch hook rug type of technique...they often fall apart to form a beautiful string rug...I seel of give them away as fast as I can make them.
just cut em into strips 1-4 inches wide and however lone up to12 inches and hook em on like yarn.
the long fiber ones hang on a wall beautifully and help collect dust in the air.
